Animals which have been sighted at El Pilar include: red eyed tree frogs, Scarlet Macaws, hummingbirds, sloth, deer, armadillo, gibnut, the poisonous pit viper the Tommy Goff or Barba Amarilla, orioles, toucans, toucanets, parrots, woodpeckers, and many more.

Unfortunately, I am not the most appropriate of experts to discuss the attributes of each of the wonderful animals and plants depicted here. For now, enjoy the sights, and check back later, for I intend to update this page with information on the subjects of these photos.
