The trail climbs up the west side of the creek toward the caretaker's
house. After walking in secondary forest, hot and close, you will
come out of the bush into carefully maintained grounds surrounding
the caretaker's house.
The caretakers are particularly proud of their forest-garden.
They have included a combination of ornamental and edible plants.
The latter help stretch and supplement their food supplies (it's
a long way to the grocery store) and the former beautify their
